This work is exploring Japanese onomatopoeia, featuring four stages of rain fall : ぽつぽつ( potsu-potsu )as countable rain drops begin to fall from sky, しとしと (shto-shto) as falls mildly, , ザーザー (tzaa-tzaa ) proper rain fall that you get soaked if you stand in it and ドシャドシャ ( dosha-dosha ) Heavy rain that could causes rain stream on a road. Each panel weaves visual elements with phonetic expressions, inviting viewers to speak these sound-words and experience the intimate connection between Japanese language and natural phenomena.
