In 2020, the pandemic hit, causing an immediate shortage of what? Flour! This was followed by yeast, and so on. It reminded me of the ancient world of human civilization. No matter how much we advance technologically, we still need the basics to live as human beings. It feels a bit humbling. All of these miniatures were handmade by my mother, who had super dexterity and a crafty hand. Sadly, she passed away in 2021.
