I had never been fond of lace hydrangeas before. However, when we were on holiday in a beautiful rustic cottage, I saw a vivid, modern vase and suddenly had a vision of lace hydrangeas flourishing by the garden gate. I arranged them and placed them on a table with a vibrant cloth. The vase, flowers, and tablecloth - this trio of elements working perfectly together - just blew my mind. I see there's one lesson there: The benefit of collaboration is to bring out and enhance the qualities we each possess.
